Music can scrape, grind, but also soothe: 22AD, hailing from Utrecht, The Netherlands, enchants you with a powerful wall of sound where the boundaries between stoner rock, grunge, and post-metal blur.
Driven by their love for heavy 90s rock, you'll hear influences from Deftones, Nine Inch Nails, Alice in Chains, and QOTSA.
They've shared the stage with bands like Elephant Tree (UK), The Devil and the Almighty Blues (NO), Gnome (BE) and The Machine and performed at their sold-out StonerGrungFest. On stage, their mix of low and heavy guitars, pounding rhythm section, vocal harmonies, and synthy sound design takes the audience on an adventurous, hypnotic, and surreal trip.

Jasper vd Steen - Drums / 2nd vocals
*He once saw three dogs fighting over a bone. When they weren't paying attention for a moment, he snatched the bone from under their panting jaws and got out of there.
*Favorite Color: Black with a silver lining.
*Jasper feels like he is truly an outdoorsy person, except when it suits him better to stay indoors.
